EXTERIOR

• Clean gutters and downspouts frequently throughout fall
• Check windows and doors for cracks and apply caulking or weather stripping if necessary
• Fertilize lawn
• Trim shrubs and trees
• Check the dryer vent and clean if necessary
• Inspect roof, attic and crawlspace for any signs of moisture or damage
• Remove outdoor hoses, insulate pipes and faucets in necessary
• Replace any light bulbs that are out

INTERIOR

• Check smoke detectors and fire extinguishers
• Repair any loose or damaged windows or door frames
• Inspect furnace and heating system and replace filters
• Install caulking or weather strips around windows and doors
• Clean air ducts
• Inspect plumbing to ensure pipes are well insulated
• Clean chimney and fireplace
• Clean baseboards
• Donate any unwanted clothing or household items
